Portuguese experimental / industrial metal artist, MERCIC has joined forces with SUMMY CANNIBAL to release a remix of Summy’s single, Forever Ever After. Released through UNP Music, the dark and heavy new version of the track is available now on the label’s official Bandcamp profile.
Forever Ever After” was inspired by a true story that I only witnessed from the outside, one couple made up from the halves of two other couples, hopelessly intertwined by a romance that will never happen within the pages of a fairy tale. This remix takes all those nuances of the story and gives them a sound where I could barely give words. I still don’t know how it happened, as I didn’t live the lyrics, but it’s an honor to have this work with the name MERCIC in the same line

While listening to the song, I immediately felt a strong connection with it. The strength of the phrase ‘fuck you and your boyfriend’ and the industrial elements it contains were enough, so as soon as Summy finished the performance, I immediately asked him, in person, if I could do a remix of the track
